The Number One Exercise for Fat Loss

This will be short and sweet.

High intensity interval training (HIIT) is the number one way to lose fat. Of course, having a low carb diet is more important for converting calories, when it comes to the burning process of annihilating that unwanted fat there is only one real process that I have found.

You could Google HIIT workouts right now, but allow me to tell you the most basic, challenging, and effective one of all.

Sprinting!

Imagine waking up early in the morning still hydrated from all the water that you drank the night before. You hop in your car and drive through the morning mist to your nearest sports park. There, you locate your chosen field or track and you stretch. You stretch your legs (obviously) your calves (of course!) and also, your shoulders (not so obvious, but a proper sprint will have need of these). Then you begin your sets. You first run four bursts of around 30 yards, taking time between each set to walk back to your starting position and catch your breath. The fifth, sixth, and seventh sprints will take you to around the 50 yard mark. These will be very challenging. You will feel like you are flying but at the end your body will scream in pain. Finally, its the last two reps: both 100 yard monsters. You will feel like you are storming the beaches of Normandy.

By the end, you may throw up. It usually takes my body two weeks to adapt to this new form of stress. I will go three times per week, and truth be told they are very, very challenging when done right. If you are interested in adding this exercise to your regime, then please look up a good video on the steps, and especially how to properly stretch. It is very easy to tear a muscle if you think all there is to sprinting is running as fast a you can. Just like every exercise there is a proper form that should be followed.

To an experienced track athlete my regime above will be very easy. Of course this article is not for them. Use this as a guide to begin with only. Maybe when you begin you will only be able to complete five reps. That is fine. The most important thing is…..

Still eating low carb! And also experiment with intermittent fasting for optimal results. The term “fat burning machine” is tossed about liberally on weight loss forums, but with this combination you will be a veritable mass murderer of fat. Fat will tell stories to their fat kids at night about you. You will be the boogy man haunting every piece of fats nightmares.
